"Reaching Willow" is a 3D animated short film created by myself along with two others, Spark Hernandez and Maryam Ditachkar. The story follows a man isolating himself from the people he loves and learning how to reach out when he needs help. We began the project in November 2023 and finished it in May 2024. My focus was on the modeling and rigging of our main character, though I also made a few of the animations and edited together a signifcant portion of the initial storybooard. There were many struggles, given that this was my first time modeling and rigging a human in Blender, but I was happy to have learned a lot from this experience. These are some examples of my contributions to the film.
